About
Craving sustainable fresh jewellery, Adea Chung created Billy Would designs in 2007. Offering beautiful and chic designs not found anywhere else.

Each unique piece is handmade using recycled and reclaimed hardwood. Rescuing exotic hardwoods from various local woodworkers and factories where the size of the wood is no longer usable for them. Each piece is carefully shaped sanded and finished without the use of lasers stains or toxic chemicals. All jewellery is accented with sterling silver (unless otherwise stated) and uses as little "first-use" packaging as possible.

Growing up in rural BC with artist parents (father a master woodcarver) Adea naturally developed a passion for art and design. Working from her shop in lush North Vancouver BC, Adea enjoys being covered in sawdust, a good cup of tea, and sneaking away for an afternoon of snowboarding. The name Billy is after her daughter, a constant source of inspiration and laughter.

Jewellery Care
The wood has been finished with a natural oil and if worn and touched often will absorb the bodies oils keeping the piece looking beautiful. It can be re-oiled if needed though. Using an oil you don't mind against the skin (ie: raw linseed or walnut) rub onto wood area letting it soak in then buff off excess with a cotton cloth. It's best if the piece is kept out of water (no showers or swimming. Make sure wood rings are regularly oiled to prevent cracking. Any metal used with the jewellery is sterling silver (unless otherwise stated) and can be buffed with a soft cloth. To keep silver from tarnishing, store jewellery in an air tight container or bag.
