Ebony is here to remind us to be current and clear-headed so we can make wise and informed decisions. We are being asked to seek new ways to create beauty and harmony that are sustainable for the long-term. This little black heart is handmade using reclaimed and salvaged ebony wood. It’s carefully hand sanded and finished with a natural matte and strung on a delicate (but strong) 18″ 14K gold fill chain.
Ebony wood is one of the most expensive and prized hardwoods. Taking 70-200 years to reach maturity, over harvesting and illegal trade makes this evergreen endangered.
